As we all ushered in the New Year, the need to understand the way to go has never been more pertinent. Irrespective of our ages, we need to know God’s will, purpose and direction for our lives.
If God took the pains to create us then He surely has a divine will and purpose for our lives. As the Psalmist carefully puts it, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful” Psalm 1:1 Drifting with our usual crowd will not necessarily mean we are walking in the right way!
There could not be a better time to stop and ask God right at the start of the New Year, His will, purpose and direction.
We need to know the way to go, we need to be sure of where we are going and we also need to be sure that we are not alone on life’s path. His presence can be assured when we are going along in His will.
Set apart some quiet time to simply ask God for His will, purpose and direction.
